Overview:

This series aims at providing teachers a better understanding on the Requirements of Basic Academic Attainments, and polishing their skills in teaching design and practice, thus enhancing teachers’ capacity for curriculum development.

Number of participating teachers and training hours:
This Workshop Series includes 6 workshops (total of 14 training hours).  88 participants in total.

Workshop 1: Encoding Task-based Language Teaching
To introduce the Task-based Language Teaching skills that can support the implementation of“Requirements of Basic Academic Attainments in English Language for secondary schools”.

Workshop 2: Teaching English through language Arts Activities-Readers Theatre
To introduce the language arts activities that can support the implementation of “Requirements of Basic Academic Attainments in English Language for secondary schools”.

Workshop 3: Teaching English through Language Arts Activities-Movies
To introduce the language arts activities that can support the implementation of “Requirements of Basic Academic Attainments in English Language for secondary schools”.

Workshop 4: Teaching English through Language Arts Activities-Poems
To introduce the language arts activities that can support the implementation of “Requirements of Basic Academic Attainments in English Language for secondary schools”

Workshop 5: Project Work in English Language Teaching and Learning
To introduce the project work inside and outside the English language classroom that can support the implementation of“Requirements of Basic Academic Attainments in English Language for secondary schools”.

Workshop 6: Towards Assessment for Learning
To introduce the assessment methods that can support the implementation of“Requirements of Basic Academic Attainments in English Language for secondary schools”.
